ERKO JUN HUNTS FOR REDEMPTION AT BRAVE CF 106

Redemption stands at the center of Erko “The Bounty Hunter” Jun’s return to the BRAVE Combat Federation stage.

The reigning BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Champion is set to defend his crown against Mohamed “L'Ambiance” Said Maalem in the co-main event of BRAVE CF 106, which takes place live at Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on Saturday, June 6.

For Jun, however, this clash carries a deeper meaning than simply protecting championship gold.

The Bosnian powerhouse enters the contest fueled by the desire to erase the painful memories of his failed pursuit of becoming a two-division king.

“I am coming into BRAVE CF 106 with one thing on my mind, and that is redemption,” Jun said. “I know what happened in my last fight, and I have carried that feeling with me every single day. This is my chance to remind the world who I really am.”

Jun’s road back to the light heavyweight division follows his appearance at BRAVE CF 96 in June 2025, where he battled Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine for the vacant BRAVE CF Middleweight World Championship.

That dream ended abruptly after Fakhreddine delivered a first-round knockout to reclaim the middleweight throne, denying Jun the opportunity to etch his name into history as a simultaneous two-division titleholder.

Now, “The Bounty Hunter” aims to bury that disappointment with a statement performance in Ljubljana.

“That loss lit a fire inside me,” Jun shared. “I am more motivated than ever before. I want to walk into Ljubljana, dominate the fight, and leave no doubt that I am still the most dangerous man in this division.”

Before the setback at middleweight, Jun had carved out a terrifying reputation through a string of highlight-reel finishes that established him as one of the promotion’s most feared competitors.

His rise reached its highest point at BRAVE CF 88 in September 2024, where he claimed the vacant BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Title with a commanding stoppage victory over Alexander Wesner.

Now back in his natural weight class, the Bosnian hard-hitter plans to reintroduce the suffocating presence that once dominated it.

Standing across from him is a familiar rival in Said Maalem, whom Jun previously dismantled at BRAVE CF 81 in April 2024 with a rapid knockout finish.

Their upcoming rematch allows Jun not only to defend his belt but also to put a definitive end to their rivalry.

“I already proved what I can do against Said Maalem,” he stated. “This rematch is about finishing the story once and for all. I want to close this chapter in dominant fashion and move forward to the next challenge waiting for me.”
