BRAVE Combat Federation’s grand milestone - BRAVE CF 100 - couldn’t have found a more fitting battleground or storyline than this. On Friday, November 7, live from the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, Bahrain’s own Hamza Kooheji steps back into the spotlight to challenge reigning BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion Borislav Nikoli? in a fight that’s already pulsing with tension.

For Kooheji, this isn’t just another main event - it’s destiny staring him in the face.

“This is the most important fight of my career,” Kooheji declared during the recent media day. “It’s either make it or break it.”

That kind of language doesn’t come from someone treating this as business-as-usual. It comes from a man carrying the weight of a nation, a symbol of Bahrain’s MMA rise who’s been part of the movement since day one - literally. Kooheji was one of the promotion’s first signed talents, competing at BRAVE CF 1: The Beginning back in September 2016, and nearly a decade later, he’s fighting for the world title on the promotion’s 100th event. This is a full-circle moment that writes itself into BRAVE CF history.

But don’t mistake nostalgia for softness. Kooheji’s focus is sharp - surgical, even. He’s been studying the Serbian champion with the intensity of someone dissecting a problem that must be solved.

“I have studied him. I don’t think any of the previous opponents have taken him as seriously as I am,” Kooheji stated, his tone calm but cutting. “I have studied all his good sides, his weak points, everything.”

Nikoli?, who claimed the bantamweight title by dethroning Nicholas Hwende at BRAVE CF 96, now finds himself in hostile territory for his first defense. Isa Town won’t be just another venue - it’ll be a melting pot of emotions. Every roar, every cheer, every Bahraini flag waving in the crowd will echo for Kooheji. And the challenger knows it.

“Winning a world title means everything.” Kooheji said. The Pride of Bahrain then gave Nikoli? a simple yet stern message ahead of their bout, “I will welcome you to Bahrain inside the cage.” That is a loaded statement with undertones that can be read into by the champion.

This isn’t just a polite invitation from Kooheji to Nikoli? - it’s a statement of intent. Kooheji plans to make Nikoli? feel exactly what it means to face the heart of Bahraini MMA on home soil.

For Nikoli?, this fight could cement his reign. For Kooheji, it could immortalize him.

Either way, when the cage door locks at BRAVE CF 100, there won’t just be a championship on the line - there will be pride, legacy, and the chance to define an era.
