AIDAN JAMES POSTS CLASSY STATEMENT AFTER FIRST LOSS AT BRAVE 24

Even though he's only 24-years-old, Aidan James has shown time and time again he is wise beyond his years. A few days after losing for the first time as a professional, the Welsh prospect once again proved that by releasing a classy statement following his KO defeat by surging contender Cameron Else at last week's BRAVE 24: London.
James made sure to give all the recognition to Else and doesn't shy away of owning up to the defeat, saying that this was the best camp and weight-cut he's ever had. With that being said, Aidan ends the statement saying that "professional fighting isn't for everyone, but it is for me".
"Hey guys, just want to thank everyone for the kind messages and support, it always means a lot to me. I got caught with a clean overhand right last night and that was it. That’s the fight game, I zigged when I should have zagged. At the end of the day I’m healthy and okay (besides my nose being on the other side of my face, and my eyebrow stitched up). Part of the reason I fell in love with the sport in the first place is for the flash knockouts and surprise finishes. I’m more than happy to dish it out so I have to be able to accept when it happens to me. I have zero excuses, my camp was amazing, my weight cut was the best it’s ever been. My fitness was through the roof. However this is Professional Fighting and it isn’t for everyone, but it is for me", said James.
Welshman Aidan had a four-fight winning streak, including three stoppage victories under the BRAVE CF banner, snapped by Cameron Else. Before BRAVE 24: London, James was being touted as a potential challenger for BRAVE CF Bantamweight world champion Stephen Loman.
