BRAVE CF 74 proved to be one of the most successful nights in the history of BRAVE Combat Federation with an event that will never be forgotten.
Over the course of the last few years, mixed martial arts has been on the rise in France - and after Thursday night, it’s been taken to a whole new level. A sold-out crowd packed into the H Arena in Nantes, with the fans bringing an electric atmosphere to the city from beginning to end.
We saw moments of magic that will live long in the memory, but for BRAVE specifically, it helped set a new record that solidifies its title as the most global MMA organization in the world. They have become the only company to host events in 29 countries and across five different continents, and you have to believe this is only the beginning.
In terms of performances, we saw an old lion roar once again in the form of Anthony Dizy as he gave Vladyslav Rudniev as much as he could handle in the co-main event. When you consider that he did so on short notice, it becomes all the more impressive.
The big headline, as many know, was the stunning flying switch-kick knockout that was landed by Levy Carriel. He put Mathieu Rakotondrazanany to sleep, and he did so in the kind of manner that guarantees him a place in the KO of the Year conversation.
In the main event, Lucas Martins proved why he’s still seen as an elite competitor by putting Ylies Djiroun away in the first round as he continues to hunt down another reign as champion.
It’s hard not to look back and see this for what it is: one of BRAVE’s finest hours.
