BRAVE Combat Federation™ (BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts organization, pays tribute to Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine following the retirement of one of the most influential athletes in its history.
A trailblazer for Lebanese and Arab MMA, Fakhreddine leaves behind a distinguished career defined by championship success, explosive performances, and a lasting contribution to the sport's growth across the Middle East.
His accomplishments earned him a place in the BRAVE CF Hall of Fame Class of 2025, where he became the first fighter inducted, alongside fellow inaugural honoree Carlos “The Roaring Lion” Kremer.
“Mohammad Fakhreddine has been an integral part of BRAVE CF's history and a tremendous ambassador for the sport,” BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid said.
“His achievements inside the cage helped put Lebanese and Arab MMA on the map. Beyond his championships, his dedication, competitive spirit, and contribution to our organization have left an enduring legacy. We are grateful for everything he has given to BRAVE CF and wish him nothing but success in the next chapter of his life.”
Fakhreddine captured the BRAVE CF Middleweight World Championship at BRAVE CF 41 in September 2020, knocking out Daniel “Gaucho” Souza Pereira in the fourth round to enter the record books as the first Lebanese to ever win a World Title under a major MMA promotion.
He later conquered a second division, defeating Mohammed “L'Ambiance” Said Maalem at BRAVE CF 57 in March 2022 to claim the light heavyweight crown and establish himself as a two-division World Champion.
“The Latest” returned to the middleweight summit at BRAVE CF 96 in June 2025, stopping Erko “The Bounty Hunter” Jun with a first-round knockout to secure his third BRAVE CF gold.
His legacy also includes a memorable run in the KHK Openweight World Championship Tournament at BRAVE CF 29 in November 2019, where he ultimately finished as runner-up.
“BRAVE CF has been a major part of my life and career,” Fakhreddine said. “I am proud of what we accomplished together, from winning world championships to representing Lebanon and the Arab region on the global stage.
“I am grateful to the organization, its leadership, my teammates and everyone who supported me throughout this journey. These memories and achievements will always hold a special place in my heart.”
