BRAVE Combat Federation, the most global MMA organization in the world, has today announced the return of top Flyweight superstar Muhammad Mokaev to the organization.
A legendary figure in the amateur mixed martial arts world as well as one of the premier Flyweight fighters in the world of professional MMA, Muhammad Mokaev has been an example of the change BRAVE Combat Federation wishes to implement in the sport.
From becoming one of the faces of the IMMAF (International Mixed Martial Arts Federation) to making his professional debut at BRAVE CF and going on to dominate in the UFC, Mokaev has helped forge a path for other young athletes to continue their successes.
Through its tireless work in empowering the IMMAF, and having Mokaev as one of its ambassadors, BRAVE Combat Federation has helped bring the sport forward and continues to lead the support to achieving SportAccord recognition and future Olympic recognition for the sport of mixed martial arts.
Having been scouted during his early amateur years, Muhammad has been a prime example of the pathway that is being built to provide young fighters with the right opportunities to develop themselves into superstars of the sport.
Mokaev was given the opportunity to compete at IMMAF World Championships held under the BRAVE International Combat Week long before he signed with BRAVE CF, and with full support of the KHK MMA Team, under the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He was then scouted in and had the opportunity to develop himself on a professional level under BRAVE CF, going through the organization’s unique globalization strategy for fighters, having pro bouts in Sweden, Bahrain, Belarus, and Poland.
After being given the opportunity to shine in the UFC, Mokaev has continued to excel inside the cage, piling up monumental wins over top opposition, including two former title challengers.
However, it is evident that the MMA industry has shown its true colors in the recent news regarding his departure from the UFC.
‘’There has been an unjust persecution of his character and attempts to use defamation to feed personal vendettas, and is evidently clear that there are no clear reasons as to why the best athlete in the world cannot compete. This is not what the sport is all about, and for BRAVE CF to have him back is fantastic, and he now can become a voice for all these challenges. Not only that, his return solidifies our ethos to have the best fight the best irrespective of any other variable, be it of creed, sex, color or marketability’’, said BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid, who also shared his excitement at having the best Flyweight in the world back.
