BRAVE Combat Federation™ (BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts organization, has announced that No. 1-ranked flyweight contender Dias “Son of the Steppes” Yerengaipov is now set to meet Ryskulbek “Kyrgyzstani Kraken” Ibraimov at BRAVE CF 105, scheduled for Sunday, May 31, at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The flyweight contest has taken a late turn after Ismail “The Volcano” Khan was forced to withdraw due to visa complications, prompting Ibragimov to step in on short notice and revive a regional sports rivalry between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan inside the BRAVE CF cage.
Yerengaipov remains the centerpiece of the matchup as one of the most accomplished athletes in the division. He holds an 18-3 professional record, featuring six knockouts and six submissions, and has established himself as a consistent threat through his well-rounded skill set and composure under pressure.
Since joining BRAVE CF, “Son of the Steppes” has compiled a perfect 3-0 record, including a notable victory over former BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion Jose “Shorty” Torres.
The Kazakh standout last competed at BRAVE CF 101 in November 2025, where he earned a hard-fought split decision win over Bairam Shammadov in a demanding 130-pound catchweight bout, further strengthening his reputation for durability and tactical discipline in close contests.
Now preparing for another high-pressure assignment on home soil, Yerengaipov faces a veteran opponent in Ibraimov, who brings extensive professional experience and familiarity with the BRAVE CF stage.
The Kyrgyz competitor has faced a wide range of international opposition throughout his career and previously competed once under the BRAVE CF banner, gaining valuable exposure to the promotion’s global spotlight and competitive depth.
