Eliezer Kubanza calls out former BRAVE CF champ Bandel, goes off on rival Carriel: Sign the contract

Jan 16, 2024

DR Congo’s finest fighter, Eliezer Kubanza is planning a busy 2024 as he looks to get closer to BRAVE Combat Federation’s Super Welterweight world title. The KO machine has taken to social media to call out two specific fighters, which he feels will get him closer to that shot at the title.

The first one was Marcin Bandel, with Kubanza claiming it would be an honor for him to fight the former world champion on the undercard of an eventual return by Mohammad Fakhreddine – the former two-weight world champion has claimed recently he would like to fight for a third world title and has called out reigning titleholder Kamal Magomedov.

However, ‘’King Kong’’ has set his eyes back on a fight with arch-rival Levy Carriel, after he resurfaced an old message from the Frenchman, challenging him.

In a video shared through his social media profiles, Kubanza spoke at length about Carriel, accusing his rival of running away from that fight, asking him to sign the contract to fight him, and vowing to knock Levy out for good:

‘’Sign the contract, Levy! You know what I mean, you don’t want to sign that paper. I really want to fight you. Don’t be a YouTuber type, ranting s*** over here. I’ll make sure no one is around to pick your old a** up! Just sign the contract and come prove it. I’ll knock your a** out! Mark my words!’’, said Kubanza.

Eliezer and Levy Carriel were scheduled to meet at BRAVE CF 74, in France, before Kubanza was forced off the card. Carriel went on to face Mathieu Rakotondrazanany, scoring one of the greatest KO’s of all time. Meanwhile, Kubanza returned to action at BRAVE CF 79, also earning a huge KO victory – both KO’s are on the short-list for BRAVE CF KO of The Year.
