Georgia Joins Elite List as BRAVE International Combat Week Lands In Tbilisi

BRAVE Combat Federation is set to etch another historic milestone as it brings the fifth edition of BRAVE International Combat Week (BICW) to Georgia this year, marking a new chapter in the country’s combat sports legacy.
From September 27 to October 3, Tbilisi will transform into the epicenter of mixed martial arts, hosting one of the sport’s most prestigious celebrations in partnership with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF).
For the first time, Georgia joins the elite roster of nations — Bahrain, Serbia, Colombia, and Pakistan — that have staged the world-renowned BICW.
“BRAVE International Combat Week is more than just an event; it’s a global movement that unites athletes, fans, and nations through the spirit of MMA. We are proud to bring this celebration to Georgia, a country with a rich fighting tradition and passionate supporters,” said BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid.
One of the week’s main attractions will be the 2025 IMMAF World Championships, where the best amateur athletes from across the globe will collide for honor and supremacy.
This showcase of emerging talent in the sport is expected to draw the attention of the combat sports world to Tbilisi, further establishing Georgia as one of MMA’s rising hotbeds.
BICW 2025 will reach its crescendo on Friday, October 3, with BRAVE CF: GEORGIA VS. THE WORLD, staged in collaboration with Georgian Fighting Championship (GFC) at the Tbilisi New Sports Palace.
The blockbuster event will pit Georgia’s top warriors against elite international opposition, igniting a night of national pride versus global firepower.
The announcement positions 2025 as the “Year of the BRAVE.” With Georgia becoming the 37th nation to host a BRAVE CF mega-show, the promotion reinforces its reputation as the most globally expansive MMA organization, consistently delivering opportunities for fighters and unforgettable experiences for fans.
