New BRAVE CF champ Nkosi Ndebele wants Alkhasov next says trilogy with Torres can wait

It looks like the first BRAVE CF trilogy could be on hold. That’s because if Bantamweight world champion Nkosi Ndebele gets his wish, a fight with Velimurad Alkhasov could be next, instead of a third bout against arch-rival Jose ‘’Shorty’’ Torres.
Upon hearing that the Sambo world champion Alkhasov was moving up to 135 pounds permanently, Ndebele seemed excited at the prospect of testing himself against one of the best lighter weight fighters in the world.
Through his social media profiles, Nkosi said he would prefer to fight Alkhasov instead of having a third fight with ‘’Shorty’’ – the two met twice last year, with each man walking away with one victory.
In their first meeting, Torres got the best via split decision, capturing the then-vacant Bantamweight belt. After fans claimed for a rematch of a very even first fight, the second bout took place at BRAVE CF 80, with Ndebele earning a huge victory by making Torres quit in the third round and becoming the new champion of the world at 135 pounds.
However, Nkosi understands that an eventual third fight with Torres will take place, but said he would rather ‘’grow and fight other guys’’, before making history as part of the first trilogy in BRAVE CF history.
