NIKOLAY ATANASOV AND MAGOMED IDRISOV LOCK HORNS AT BRAVE CF 107

BRAVE Combat Federation™ (BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts organization, continues to build anticipation for its return to Bulgaria as hometown favorite Nikolay Atanasov prepares to welcome Bahraini standout Magomed Idrisov to the Burgas Arena in a flyweight showdown on Saturday, August 1, at BRAVE CF 107, held in partnership with Bulgarian Fight Agency (BFA).
Nikolay Atanasov, BRAVE CF Athlete, stated:
"I've been waiting for the chance to compete again under the BRAVE CF banner, and getting to do it in front of my fellow Bulgarians makes it even more meaningful. The support from the local fans gives me extra motivation. I am ready to show everyone how much I have evolved and deliver a performance they will remember."
Magomed Idrisov, BRAVE CF Athlete, stated:
“It is great to get another fight in BRAVE CF and continue building momentum. I respect Nikolay as a young and talented athlete representing Bulgaria, but I am coming to make a statement. Every appearance is a chance to move closer to my goals, and I am looking forward to delivering another strong performance.”
Atanasov enters the contest carrying a perfect professional record of 5-0. Four of his victories have come via submission, all secured within the opening two rounds. The Bulgarian made his promotional debut at BRAVE CF: GEORGIA VS. THE WORLD in October 2025, earning a hard-fought split decision victory over Adigozel Guliyev.
Beyond his unbeaten résumé in the professional ranks, Atanasov has already built a reputation through his amateur achievements. He remains the only athlete to have knocked down reigning BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion Muhammad “The Punisher” Mokaev during their amateur encounter.
At the time, Mokaev had already amassed an 18-0 record and was a two-time IMMAF World Champion. Despite being only in his third amateur bout, Atanasov pushed the future flyweight king to his limits, with the Dagestani-born Englishman later acknowledging the Bulgarian as one of his toughest opponents.
That storyline takes on added significance at BRAVE CF 107 as Atanasov now squares off against one of Mokaev’s teammates and sparring partners at Team KHK.
Representing Bahrain, Idrisov brings an impressive 12-2 professional record into the matchup. His standing features three knockout victories and three submission finishes.
A familiar face under the BRAVE CF banner, six of his 14 appearances at the professional level have taken place inside the promotion’s cage, where he has emerged victorious four times while consistently delivering memorable performances.
The Bahraini talent was last seen in action at BRAVE CF 101 in November 2025, where he earned a convincing decision victory over Marciano Ferreira, further solidifying his position as a dangerous contender in the division.
With a local hero looking to extend his flawless record and a battle-tested veteran aiming to continue his surge, the flyweight encounter between Atanasov and Idrisov promises to be one of the most captivating contests at BRAVE CF 107 when the organization returns to Bulgaria on August 1.
