BRAVE Combat Federation™ (BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts organization, made a triumphant return to Uzbekistan with BRAVE CF 103, held at the Universal Sports Complex in Bukhara.

Presented in partnership with Amir Temur Fighting Championship, the year-ending showcase delivered a pulse-pounding night of elite MMA action. The event featured seven compelling bouts, culminating in a highly anticipated catchweight showdown that pitted a hometown favorite against an unbeaten visiting phenom, serving as the marquee attraction.

In the main event of BRAVE CF 103, Nozim “Bukhara Warrior” Kalandarov sent the home crowd into a frenzy, as he overpowered Pakistani knockout specialist Rizwan “The Haider” Ali from start to finish in a high-octane duel at a catchweight of 71.65 kilograms.

Kalandarov sprang out of his corner with authority, quickly shutting down Ali’s dangerous striking while imposing his will with crisp takedowns and relentless ground-and-pound.

“Bukhara Warrior” maintained his unyielding pace through the third and final round, leaving the judges with no doubt as he garnered a unanimous decision on the scorecards, received a roaring ovation from supporters, and handed Ali his first career defeat.

In the co-main event of the evening, Kazakh warrior Koshen Akanov made an unforgettable debut on the global stage, dismantling Uzbekistan’s Sardor “Tiger” Khudoyberdiev in just 55 seconds. Akanov stitched together the finishing sequence with a quick left hook, followed by a solid right straight, before landing a flurry of strikes that forced the referee to save Khudoyberdiev from further damage.

Kyrgyzstan’s Nizambek Abdrashitov stole the spotlight inside the Universal Sports Complex, delivering a masterclass performance against Uzbekistan’s Abdurakhmon Gafurov in a lightweight clash. Right off the bat, Abdrashitov took charge, repeatedly taking Gafurov down, raining heavy strikes, and hunting relentlessly for a rear-naked choke. Despite Gafurov’s tough resistance, Abdrashitov’s round-by-round control was decisive, earning him a clear-cut unanimous decision victory.

Third-ranked super lightweight Khamzat “Borz” Maaev overcame a spirited effort from Kyrgyzstan’s Mirbek Zhenishbekov to deliver a technical knockout victory. Zhenishbekov tested the Chechen powerhouse’s mettle in the opening five minutes with hard-hitting attacks on the feet, making it difficult for Maaev to assert his signature grappling. However, Maaev gradually found his rhythm in the following frame, executing a decisive double-leg takedown before landing a flurry of sharp elbows and short punches that left his opponent unable to continue, prompting the referee to step in and call a halt to the contest.

Third-ranked super welterweight contender Zagid Gaidarov of Bahrain turned in a picture-perfect first-round stoppage, needing less than a round to dispatch Kazakhstan’s Ruslan Serikpulov and snap back into the win column. The Team KHK representative asserted his dominance from the opening bell, taking the fight to the mat, securing top position, and unleashing a barrage of punishing ground-and-pound to seal the resounding finish.

Seventh-ranked flyweight contender Ismail “The Volcano” Khan kept his momentum rolling inside the BRAVE CF cage with another electrifying submission win, this time putting away Kyrgyzstan’s Rayimbek Tazhibaev in a 60.5-kilogram catchweight contest. From the opening bell, the Pakistani blue-chip prospect operated behind his suffocating ground attack. That ploy ultimately led to the finish in the second round, as Khan fastened a tight arm-triangle choke to put Tazhibaev to sleep and register yet another statement triumph.

BRAVE CF 103 kicked off on an exciting note as India’s Owais Yaqoob continued his perfect run under the promotion’s banner, dispatching Turkish debutant Mehmet Can Tasdoven in emphatic fashion. The Indian grappling standout wasted no time asserting control, locking his hands to dominate the clinch, uncorking a barrage of knees before transitioning to the canvas and clobbering ground strikes to claim a first-round stoppage.
