A return years in the making now comes with the highest of stakes.
Stephen “The Sniper” Loman's first assignment back in BRAVE Combat Federation has been elevated to the co-main event of BRAVE CF 108, where he will square off against Georgian sensation Lasha Abramishvili at the historic Pula Arena in Croatia on September 5.
Positioned just before the middleweight headliner between hometown hero Andi “Highlight Machine” Vrta?i? and France’s Sofiane Bouafia, the pivotal bantamweight clash is widely expected to determine the next contender for the vacant BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Championship.
For Loman, the occasion represents far more than another appearance. It is the chance to restart a journey that had been put on hold.
"Returning to BRAVE CF is already special because this is where I built my career, and to be trusted with the co-main event makes it even more meaningful," Loman said.
"It motivates me even more to put on a performance worthy of that position and show that I belong back in the World Title picture."
After signing an exclusive multi-fight agreement in December 2025, "The Sniper" finally has the opportunity to compete again following an extended period of uncertainty.
The move also reunites him with the organization where he established himself as one of the sport's elite bantamweights.
Loman's ascent mirrored the global expansion of BRAVE CF. Since competing on its inaugural card in September 2016, he compiled a flawless 6-0 promotional record.
His defining moment came at BRAVE CF 9: THE KINGDOM OF CHAMPIONS in November 2017 when he thwarted Gurdarshan “Saint Lion” Mangat by way of first-round technical knockout to become the first-ever BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion.
The triumph sparked a historic reign that lasted 1,179 days, the longest in divisional history, as he successfully defended the coveted crown four times.
Among those World Title defenses, none resonated more with Filipino fans than his emphatic fourth-round knockout of former BRAVE CF Featherweight World Champion Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame at BRAVE CF 22: STORM OF WARRIORS, held inside the SM Mall of Asia Arena in March 2019.
Standing across from him, however, is an opponent determined to create a legacy of his own.
Abramishvili has emerged as one of the promotion's fastest-rising bantamweights, carrying a 12-2-1 professional record and an unblemished 4-0 mark inside the BRAVE CF cage.
Three of those wins came inside the distance, while his latest outing resulted in a hard-fought unanimous decision against Brice “Lion Kid” Picaud at BRAVE CF 106 this past June.
On September 5, only one man will leave Croatia with a clear path to the BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Title.
