Nearly a week has passed since BRAVE CF 106 lit up Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana, Slovenia, last Saturday, June 6, delivering championship drama and a rare family milestone that will be remembered across combat sports.
The event produced significant movement at the top of two divisions, headlined by Pavel “The Experiment” Dailidko, who once again imposed his authority to successfully defend the BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Championship with a swift and decisive stoppage over Slovenia’s Miha Frlic.
In the co-feature attraction, Mohamed “L'Ambiance” Said Maalem delivered a career-defining performance, dethroning Erko “The Bounty Hunter” Jun in their rematch to capture the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Title.
But as the night progressed and the arena settled, a story on the supporting card emerged that became the defining moment of the evening.
Maja and Domen Drnovšek etched their names into mixed martial arts history by becoming the first married couple to both compete and win on the same fight card.

Maja set the tone with an authoritative performance, submitting Poland’s Wiktoria Wojciechowska via first-round arm-triangle choke in their women’s flyweight bout.
Meanwhile, Domen faced the tougher assignment, battling Hungary’s István “Assassin” Juhász in a 73-kilogram catchweight clash.
Over three hard rounds, he relied on steady output and persistence before earning a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards.

The Drnovšeks describe themselves as “partners in life, teammates in battle,” a philosophy shaped by years of shared discipline in martial arts.
Their journey has been defined by setbacks as much as milestones.
At BRAVE CF 102 in November 2025, they became the first married couple to compete in the same event.
Maja authored a successful professional debut against Ghita Chafik, while Domen’s bout against Lucian Dragomir ended in a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke, denying them a shared victory.
The dream remained unfinished until BRAVE CF 106 turned it into reality.
In a sport built on individual pursuit, the Drnovšeks delivered something rare: a dual victory forged through shared sacrifice, shared discipline, and a partnership that now stands alone in MMA history.
