BRAVE Combat Federation returns to Slovenia with thunderous intent as it stages a landmark event in partnership with World Freefight Challenge on Saturday, June 6, at Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana.
Topped by two World Championship clashes, the upcoming spectacle promises a defining night where legacies are tested and divisions are reshaped.
At the summit of the card, reigning BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Champion Pavel “The Experiment” Dailidko puts his crown on the line against No. 1-ranked contender Miha Frlic in a main event charged with consequence.
The Lithuanian finisher arrives with an imposing 11-2 slate, every victory secured inside the distance through knockout.
Since entering the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts organization in 2022, Dailidko has dismantled opposition with calculated brutality, winning six of his last seven bouts.
His rise reached a historic peak at BRAVE CF 88 in September 2024, where he tore through Patryk Dubiela in the opening round to claim the inaugural heavyweight crown.
He has since reinforced his reign with two successful defenses, including a commanding performance at BRAVE CF 99 in Vilnius, where he stopped Grégory “Robson” Robinet in under a round before a raucous home crowd.
“I have worked relentlessly to reach this level, and I am far from done,” Dailidko declared.
Across from him stands Frlic, an undefeated force carrying a 7-0-1 record and a flawless run under the promotion’s banner.
Known for his relentless pressure and concussive finishing instincts, the Slovenian contender has surged into World Title contention with authority.
Frlic’s statement triumph came at BRAVE CF 104 last February, where he flattened Samuele “Tank” Di Guardo in the first round to nab the top contender spot.
“This is the moment I have been working toward my entire career. To compete for the World Title in front of my people is an incredible honor,” Frlic said.
Meanwhile, a rivalry reignites in the co-headliner as Erko “The Bounty Hunter” Jun defends the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Title against Mohamed “L’Ambiance” Said Maalem in a rematch steeped in unfinished business.
Their first meeting at BRAVE CF 81 in April 2024 ended abruptly, with Jun delivering a swift knockout.
Now, both fighters return sharper, more seasoned, and driven by different motivations.
Said Maalem, a seasoned campaigner in BRAVE CF since 2019, approaches this opportunity with urgency.
Having previously competed in World Title bouts, the Swiss-Algerian powerhouse carries both experience and hunger into this five-round encounter.
“This is more than a rematch for me; it is a chance to correct the past and prove that I belong at the very top,” Said Maalem stated.
Jun, meanwhile, aims to reestablish his place at light heavyweight following his pursuit of two-division glory at BRAVE CF 96 in June 2025, where he battled Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine for the vacant middleweight strap.
Prior to that bid, the Bosnian striker carved through contenders with a string of emphatic finishes, culminating in his World Title-winning performance against Alexander Wesner at BRAVE CF 88.
Now back in his natural weight class, Jun seeks to reaffirm his authority with precision and composure.
“I am not just defending a World Title; I am defending the standard I have set in this division. On June 6, I intend to impose my rhythm, control the distance, and show that my evolution as a fighter has only made me more dangerous,” Jun asserted.
With two World Championships hanging in the balance, BRAVE CF’s return to Slovenia is more than a showcase.
It is a crucible where contenders chase immortality, and World Champions fight to preserve it. At Hala Tivoli, the stakes are absolute, and only the elite will endure.
